Pearl Street Brewery Awarded Congressional Proclamation and a Legacy Award from the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce
Pearl Street Brewery was recently honored by the United States House of Representatives for its 25th-anniversary milestone, community engagement, and “entrepreneurial spirit.” They received the proclamation at their 25th Annual Winter Ball in February and presented by Representative Derrick Van Orden.
“Wow, what an unexpected surprise and great honor to be recognized by the US Congress for our work in the community,” said Joe Katchever. “It is also a great honor to be alongside The Children’s Museum, Borton Construction, and Three Sixty. I can remember when they all started, and I have worked with each of them throughout this journey.”
Additionally, Pearl Street Brewery received the 2024 LEGACY AWARD for 25 years of service and business in La Crosse from the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce. They celebrated their anniversary with several other organizations and businesses celebrating 25 years including The Children’s Museum, Three Sixty Real Estate, and Borton Construction.
Neal Zygarlicke, CEO of the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce remarked, “Pearl Street Brewery was a trailblazer in the La Crosse area for craft brewing. La Crosse and its economy boast a robust beer and brewing history, with the G. Heileman Brewing Company having been one of the largest producers in the world. However, it was Pearl Street that paved the way for craft brewing in La Crosse in 1999. The community embraced this new type of brewery, and the rest is history. Our community extends gratitude to Joe, Tami, and the PSB Team for their business investments in the La Crosse area and for their involvement in our community, especially on the Northside. Congratulations to Pearl Street Brewery on 25 years—an incredible milestone. Here’s to 25 more years!”
