Friday the Dankteenth

Don’t let superstition keep you away from a great night at the Tasting Room! We may have ladders hanging out in the brew haus, but we can assure you no black cats will walk past you while you’re enjoying a brew.

Join us TONIGHT for Friday the Dankteenth, a vertical tasting session featuring the freak of a beer we like to call Dankenstein!

Brewed with a monster mix of pure barley malts stitched together with a hodgepodge of the stinkiest hops we could find, this double IPA is considered to be quite dank. With a starting gravity of 19.2 and colossal-quadruple hoppings in the kettle, this is a great beer to experiment with a vertical tasting.

What’s a vertical tasting, you might ask?
Well, it’s where we take a new batch of beer and compare it to different vintages, or older batches of that same beer. The end results highlight how the beer matures over time.

Every year, we will save a little bit of Dankenstein just for these vertical tastings!

The Tasting Room will open at 3pm and the tasting will begin.
$5 / Vertical Tasting (Two 1/2 pints)
$13 / Vertical Tasting & Mix Dankenstein 4pk

Be here at 5pm for a commentary by Brewmaster Joe Katchever.

And if you haven’t yet, take a brewery tour at 5p or 6p! Stick around for live music by Jason Sebranek from 6 – 9p.

1898 Saison le Charmant Release

We’ve teamed up with the The Charmant Hotel for an exclusive brew that you’re going to want to try!

Join us Thursday, May 19th on The Charmant rooftop for an evening of pizza & beer – can’t get much better than that!

Featuring the 1898 Saison le Charmant. Literally, “the Charming Season.” Saison ales were originally brewed by farmers in Wallonia – the French-speaking part of Belgium- during the Winter months and were served to farm workers in the summer months, who were entitled to up to five liters each workday. True to tradition, this farmhouse ale was brewed in the winter, to be consumed throughout the summer months. Saison le Charmant is a very complex beer; fruity in the aroma and flavor. Look for earthy yeast tones and mild tartness. Lots of spice and with little bitterness, semi-dry with only a touch of sweetness. 26 IBU – 4.8% ABV

Pair your Saison with The Charmant’s newest addition to the kitchen – a wood-fired pizza. Is your mouth watering yet??

Get up to the roof by 6pm for the ceremonious 1898 Tapping by Brewmaster Joe Katchever.
