The La Crosse Bar & Restaurant Relief Fund Deadline Has Been Extended

The La Crosse Bar & Restaurant Relief Fund Deadline Has Been Extended

Sprout for Kids Foundation and Pearl Street Brewery has announced an extension to the La Crosse Bar & Restaurant Relief Fund until December 31, 2020. Tami & Joe from Pearl Street Brewery created this fund to raise money for area restaurants and bars and  100% of the proceeds will be turned into grants. These funds are to be used as gap funding for area restaurants and bars for expenses not covered by PPP loans or other grants. La Crosse area bars and restaurants who have suffered hardships during the lock-down can apply for a grant.

As the hardships of Covid-19 continue to create ongoing challenges for restaurant and bar owners in terms of exposure, closures, low capacity and lack of business, owners are struggling to make the bills. The reality is that there is not an end in sight. And these small local businesses need our help! Currently, the project has raised $20,000+ dollars. Sprout for Kids Foundation  and Pearl Street Brewery are making a final push for this fund, and have extended the deadline to  December 31, 2020.

Pearl Street Brewery has released Shitty Lyte Beer in cans! But there’s a twist… The inaugural first can-run of the Shitty has certain cans with upside down labels! Perfect for your partying out in the sun this Summer, Shitty in the can is the best way to enjoy your favorite Shitty beer outside! So Pearl Street Brewery now wants to celebrate by offering Shitty Lyte drinkers part of the Shitty legacy who find the upside down can to have some fun! Contest ends July 31, 2020.

Pearl Street Brewery Ranks Top 20 in Travel Wisconsin Brewdown Poll!

Pearl Street Brewery to Release Flagship And New Fan Favorite Tasting Room Beers in 12oz and 16oz Cans

Travel Wisconsin recently asked residents to nominate their favorite brewery on social media in the ultimate Wisconsin Brewdown. With a reach of nearly 124,000 people, and more than 2,500 responses, Pearl Street Brewery ranked among the top 20 in the state.

Beer aficionados and novices alike are encouraged to vote for their favorite brewery as often as once per day now through Friday, July 24th at TravelWisconsin.com/Wisconsin-Brewdown and help crown Wisconsin’s favorite brewery, “Top in Hops.”

“Glad to see so many Pearl Street beer lovers out there cast a vote in our direction! We’re proud of the beer we’ve brewed and the parties we’ve had. This year is a year of innovation for Pearl Street and we are really excited about the future” said Pearl Street Owner and Brewmaster, Joe Katchever, “It’s good to show support for your local brewery no matter where you live, especially during this extraordinary year, and big thanks to Travel Wisconsin for doing this.”

With a mix of mega-breweries that made Wisconsin famous for beer and innovative craft breweries, Wisconsin remains at the center of the beer universe. By mixing traditional European brewing techniques with local ingredients and a deft artist’s touch, these entrepreneurs have created some of the most highly regarded beers in the world – as well as vibrant tourist attractions.

Dozens of Wisconsin’s breweries and brew pubs offer tours or tastings and visitors looking for a unique culinary and cultural experience can visit a number of them within a short distance in every region of the state.

“With so many great breweries throughout the state, The Wisconsin Brewdown is a fun way to support your local favorites and learn about new must-try breweries to visit in the future,” said Tourism Secretary-designee Sara Meaney. “I encourage all to participate by visiting TravelWisconsin.com, vote for your favorite brewery, and plan your trip to discover what’s on tap in Wisconsin.”

Breweries are an important sector of the tourism industry. The Wisconsin Brewdown promotion is one of a series of efforts the department is undertaking to spotlight and support the tourism industry’s recovery.

Pearl Street Brewery will be releasing more of its favorite beers in cans throughout the summer, including its well known Linalool IPA, the only IPA in the world brewed with Northern Discovery® hops. Its speciality fan favorite Raspberry Tambois, originally only available in 22oz Bombers but will now be available in 12oz 4pk cans, and its famous Oktoberfest-time seasonal Lederhosen Lager Fest Bier which Pearl Street has brewed every year for La Crosse’s famous fest since 2001. Raspberry Tambois (Cans available in August)

Lederhosen Lager Fest Bier (Cans available in Aug/Sept)

Brewed with Pilsen and Vienna malts, true German lager yeast, and spiced with paired hops grown in Hallertau. You’ll find this amber beer to be smooth, malty, and easy drinking (5% ABV 11 IBUs).
