Turisimo Fermentations Releases New Purple Reign Hard Cider from Hoch Orchards

Turisimo Fermentations

Turisimo Fermentations and Hoch Organic Orchards have collaborated on a new Hard Cider. Purple Reign, a semi-sweet cider made with purple raspberries and other fruit grown by the Hoch Family in Nodine, MN.

Purple Reign, the first of the new hard ciders coming out in cans, will be out by mid-June in stores in La Crosse and around Western Wisconsin and is available on tap now at the Pearl Street Brewery Tasting Room.

Bars and Restaurants interested in putting Hoch Hard Ciders on tap or selling it in cans can contact Hoch Orchards or Turisimo Fermentations. Other collaborations on deck for the two local companies include Cool Haralson, and the Honey, Honey.

Purple Reign is made with a purple raspberry variety named Royalty, this unique flavor dominates this hard cider (6% ABV).

Cool Haralson is dry fermented giving it a dry tanginess while leaving it hazy like a German wheat beer (6% ABV).

Honey, Honey is a semi-sweet, easy drinking cider that uses Honeycrisp as a main ingredient with a balance of sweetness and tanginess. Honey from the same bees that pollinate the orchard each Spring provide a touch of sweetness. (6% ABV).

Turisimo Fermentations is also releasing a variety of hard seltzers and wines on tap. Wines include Marquette, Frontenac Gris, and Red Cherry Red, which are vinted with grapes from the upper midwest. The wines are currently available by glass or in a growler to-go at Pearl Street Brewery’s Tasting Room.
