On Thursday April 1, 2021, Sprout for Kids Foundation and Pearl Street Brewery are kicking off springtime with the first of the season Chicken Q from Pogy’s Catering to help provide critical support to La Crosse Community organizations.
The Chicken Q taking place in the Pearl Street Brewery Parking Lot, from 11am-7pm will be benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse, and The Center: 7 Rivers LGBTQ Connection. With most nonprofits providing services, funding has been impacted greatly by a reduction in giving due to COVID. The event aims to sell 3000 lunches/dinner to offset some of these past years’ costs. Guests are able to stay in their cars for a drive-through pick-up or may visit the Pearl Street Tap Room.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse is a safe place for youth from all backgrounds to learn and grow, with special concern for those from challenging circumstances. The Clubs provide the opportunities and resources for youth to carry out their dreams and goals. We want to inspire our youth, impact our youth, and also invest in them for years to come. We want our Clubs to become the backbone of their existence and success.
The Center is a non-profit, run mostly by volunteers striving to make the world a better place for LGBT people and their allies. Through advocacy, programming, and outreach, we hope to make our 11 county area a better place.
Sprout for Kids is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that is 100% volunteer run, and all the dollars raised go right to where they are needed.
