Pearl Street Brewery Participates in the 2019 Wisconsin Brewers Guild Common Thread Beer
Pearl Street Brewery has once again participated in the Wisconsin Brewers Guild Common Thread Series. The Common Thread is a macro-collaboration created by more than 20 Wisconsin brewers who came together to share ideas and celebrate Wisconsin’s rich brewing heritage and culture.
The 2019 Common Thread Collaboration was brewed at Vintage Brewing Company in Sauk City. This year’s beer is a Cranberry Witbier with a touch of coriander, chamomile, and rose hips and a hint of tartness contributed by a partial kettle sour. This beer has been described as a “Belgian-inspired unfiltered wheat ale with a tempting citrus/cranberry fruitiness, velvety smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness and juicy-tart berry finish” with 8 IBUs 5.4% ABV.
Wisconsin-grown Ingredients Include:
Malted Scarlett 2-row barley
