Community Hop Harvest Ale to Provide Meals to La Crosse Warming Center

This past fall, Pearl Street Brewery invited area hop growers to bring in their crop to be included in its seasonal Harvest Ale, for each pound of hops brought in, the grower received 1lb of beer (pint) at the time of donation and 1lb of the freshly brewed Harvest Ale beer when finished.

This year’s beer is an English Mild Amber Ale (5.1% ABV 11 IBUs) which includes a blend of community-sourced hops. The Pearl Street Brewery Tap Room and area restaurants will have the opportunity to serve the beer throughout the winter.

Proceeds from the beer will benefit the La Crosse Warming Center, a portion of every pint purchased will go towards feeding neighbors at the center throughout the winter.

Interested restaurants and locations willing to sell the beer may reach out to Pearl Street Brewery directly.

Those who donated hops are invited to the Pearl Street Brewery Tasting Room to redeem their pint of the Harvest Ale.
